How would you like your refund delivered? Here are your options

When you e-file with TaxSlayer, you are already on the way to getting your maximum refund fast. Every taxpayer is different, and that’s why we let you choose how you want your money to arrive.

Note: Most refunds are issued within 21 days from the time they are accepted by the IRS.

Direct Deposit

With direct deposit, your money is transferred electronically from the Department of Treasury straight into your checking or savings account. All you need for direct deposit is an account number and a routing number. You can even choose up to three different accounts and split your refund deposit among them.

Visa® Debit Card Powered by Green Dot

Get your refund fast on a Visa® Debit Card issued by Green Dot Bank, Member FDIC.* This reloadable debit card features free ASAP Direct Deposit, ATM access, no overdraft fees, and a mobile app to manage your money 24/7. The Green Dot Visa® Debit Card allows you to receive your refund through direct deposit even if you don’t have a bank account. See Deposit Account Agreement for details.

Printed Check

Receive your refund by check sent to the address listed on your return. Mailed refunds typically arrive five days after they are issued by the IRS. By choosing this option, you pay service charges when you file.

File & Go with zero out-of-pocket fees

With the File & Go option, your tax prep fees will be deducted from your refund. File & Go is a simple and convenient option if you do not have or prefer not to use a credit card or debit card to pay your tax prep fees. This service is enabled by Green Dot Bank, Member FDIC. The amount transferred is not a loan. Additional fees apply. Terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. See Agreement for details.

*The Visa®®️ Debit Card is issued by Green Dot Bank, Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. You must be approved by Green Dot Bank to receive a Visa®®️ Debit Card.
